Vonage Gives Free VoIP Calls to Facebook Users

Android and iPhone users – did you know that you can make free VoIP cals via Facebook? Vonage just released the Vonage Mobile App, which allows you to make free mobile calls to any Facebook friends who also have the app installed, no matter where they are in the world! The app is available for iPhone and Android platforms, works on WiFi and 3G, and requires a Facebook account.

Using the Vonage Mobile App is so easy. First, download the application from the iTunes Store, Android Market, or the Vonage fan page on Facebook.

Once the app has been downloaded, enter your Facebook username and password. The app automatically organizes your contacts into friends who can receive free calls (friends who already have the app installed) or friends you can send instant messages to. To make a call, simply touch a friend’s name from the Free Call list! Even if the application is closed, your friend’s phone will ring when it receives your call.
