Tpad Makes VoIP available on Nokia Mobile Phones

Tpad just released a free SMS text service which automatically sets up a WiFi enabled mobile phone that will bring free or very affordable mobile VoIP calls to millions of users. The SMS text service currently works for Nokia’s E and N phone series and will be updated when Motorola and Samsung release their WiFi phones later this year. Tpad users worldwide get free mobile calls if the calls are routed over the WiFi connection. PSTN calls to landline or mobile phones from the user’s WiFi mobile will be charged very low VoIP rates.

What makes this service convenient and easy to use is that there’s no need to install any special software. Tpad also integrades with your existing address book, so you don’t need to re-enter your contacts. Once you’re in a WiFi hotspot, you get automatically connected the next time the phone is in range.
