Residential VoIP

If you wonder on the choices for residential VoIP, it’s best to read entries on actual users. I found one user who “stumbled across a conversation initiated by a post that Om Malik (best of luck with your recovery Om) wrote in his blog more than a year ago entitled PSTN versus VoIP. With respect to residential VoIP service, not much has changed since the original post.

I added the following to the many comments:

I have been using VoIP, in one form or another, for residential phone service for more than 8 years. I currently have 3 voice VoIP lines and 1 Fax VoIP line.

However, I still have my good old POTS service from Bell and I don’t intend to give it up for the foreseeable future. Here’s why:
