iCall VoIP Application for the iPhone

More free VoIP services for you lucky iPhone users! iCall, a registered Apple developer, is getting ready to deliver their own VoIP application for the iPhone through the App Store. Besides allowing you to make and receive calls through WiFi, iCall lets users save minutes by transfering inbound calls from a regular cellphone to WiFi. You can also access the same address book and customize your voice mail options.

The video below shows how iCall switches to VoIP when you get a call to your regular number. This can only work while you’re connected through a free WiFi service, though.

And for those who are concerned about the legality of this app, you might be happy to know that iCall was developed using the Apple iPhone Developer Kit. Unlike other apps for jailbroken iPhones, iCall does not use any undocumented API calls.
