Internet telephony company Jajah announced that they would be participating in the iPhone Developer Program to make the first native global VoIP application for the iPhone. Although their web-based VoIP services are already up and running, their iPhone VoIP client will allow free or very low cost two-way phone calls to any phone in the world.
If you remember all the talk about what kind of applications would be allowed to run on the iPhone, Steve Jobs said that VoIP is permissible so long as it doesn’t interfere with or have access to the mobile carrier’s network.

The new client will be available on the Apple Store sometime in June.
