AT&T Gives Free WiFi to iPhone Users
Starting today, AT&T hotspots will be giving iPhone users free wireless internet access at Starbucks and other hotspot locations across the US. AT&T Broadband customers will also get free WiFi and plans to extend this promo to all its wireless customers soon, though there has been no official word on when. Ordinarily, this service would cost $6 for two hours or $20 a month. It appears that you can also access the AT&T free WiFi with a valid iPhone ID number and a laptop, and reports from other users also say that you can get free WiFi if you switch to Mobile Safari. As for the rest who can’t take advantage to AT&T’s sweet deal, there’s always Linksys, the world’s largest free WiFi service.
