Skype is probably THE VoIP softphone to use, but the problem with its popularity is that when too many users come online, they tend to receive poor signal when they do voice chat or video chat. Luckily there are many alternatives to Skype, and there’s an up and coming VoIP software that might come integrated with the newer laptops,
CQPhone is a user-friendly PC-to-PC VoIP service that allows users to text chat, voice chat, and video chat. The software also makes file and media sharing very easy; all you have to do is drag the files or the web links onto the interface. The best part about CQPhone is that it’s very easy to get started using it. All you need to do is download and install the software, and you automatically get assigned a CQ phone number.
As of now, CQPhone only works with Windows OS, but it’d be great to see a Mac version too!
