iPhone 3G is Coming this Friday!

The Apple iPhone 3G is coming to the Apple retail store or AT&T location nearest you on Friday, July 12. If you show up ready, you can have your iPhone working within a matter of minutes.

To purchase and activate your new iPhone 3G, have your credit card, Social Security Number, valid government-issued photo ID, and current wireless account number and PIN (if you’re new to AT&T). If you already have an iPhone, sync it to iTunes one last time before you get the iPhone 3G. Since the iPhone 3G also syncs with the applications on your Mac or PC, you might also want to organize your contacts, calendar, photos, music, and other information now so that you can easily transfer the data when you bring your iPhone home.

Suggested retail price for the iPhone 3G is $199 for the 8GB model and $299 for the 16GB model.
