iPhone Gets its First VoIP App

Today’s launch of the Fring Beta iPhone marks the very first native VoIP app for the iPhone that works over WiFI WLAN. Besides enabling users to make free mobile calls, Fring also allows you to chat with friends and family through Fring, Windows Live-MSN, Skype, Google Talk, ICQ, Twitter, Yahoo, and AIM.
Since it is a native application, you’re gonna need to have a jailbroken iPhone for it to work. Once your device is ready to use third party applications, launch the Installer and go to Sources. Click Edit then Add. In the Add Source window type http://fring.com/iphone.xml and select OK. Wait for the Categories screen to load then tap Fring. On the next screen, head over to the Fring category then open the Fring Screen. Choose install, then select Done.
