VoIP phones are nothing new, and free services like Skype made the whole technology popular and cheap. So if anyone’s going to enter the VoIP market, they’ve got to come up with a quirky gimmick to win people over - and it looks like Korean company Ubistar has done just that. They have a line of memory sticks with storage spaces that range from 64MB to 1GB. What makes these memory sticks different from others is that it works as a VoIP system. The memory sticks come with a microphone and earphones, as well as a phone dialler in the chip. All you have to do is plug the memory stick into a USB port and attach the earphones. Like other VoIP systems, you can get connected to another PC, landline, or mobile phone; people can contact you on your IP phone as well. As an added bonus, Ubistar also lets you send MMS, SMS, and e-mail with the software that comes along with it.
