SunRocket VOIP Service ends

If SunRocket, the second-largest independent VoIP company folds up what will stop other VoIP companies from folding up as well. Sonya Jefferson, Director of Routing and Carrier Services yesterday morning.

“Unfortunately this email contains very bad news. We have just been informed that any and all last ditch efforts to keep operations running as well as a potential sale of the company have not gone through and that SunRocket will cease operations at COB today. As such, today is my last day and everyone else you may have worked with at SunRocket. … Regarding outstanding and future invoices: Sherwood Partners out of Palo Alto will be handling the close down of all invoices, current and outstanding.”

For those who want their money back, a chargeback could work. Others might need to seek another VoIP provider and will seek stability and reliability. Others may choose to go with Packet8 or the old trusted services of Skype.

I was a SunRocket subscriber and my phone stopped working without warning last week. From then, I went browsing about to see if any VoIP service provider is there to offer best transition opportunities to SunRocket customers. Finally, I noticed a link http://www.lingo.com/sunrocket that offers two plans highlighting one month free, free shipping, free activation, free equipment and 30 day money back guarantee. I think this could be a better option for SunRocket customers and I am planning to switch to Lingo.
